Donna Murphy joined the Havas network in 1987 and has been involved in pharmaceutical marketing since.
Ms. Murphy and her team built Havas Health into the largest health-and-wellness communications network in the world. She now leads 4,000 employees around the world at more than 80 multidiscipline health-focused marketing agencies in 50 countries.
She is devoted to charitable endeavors, as well. She is a member of the Red Sox Foundation and Mass General Hospital Home Base leadership council, a trustee for Bishop Kearney High School, a member ot the Coalition for Healthcare Communications executive committee and a board member of the Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere).
In recent years, Ms. Murphy has been recognized for her many achievements, in both career and philanthropic work. She was named Advertising Person of the Year by Med Ad News, one of the Most Influential Women of the Year by The Irish Voice and earned the 2017 Irish America Business 100 Award. She was ranked third on the MM&M and PRWeek Health Influencer 50 list and named Executive of the Year by the Arthritis Foundation.
Additionally, under her leadership Havas Health was named Agency/Network of the Year by Medical Marketing & Media (MMM).
After these many years, Ms. Murphy is passionate about healthcare communications and its ability to connect patients with meaningful brands that can make a difference in their daily lives.
